NPTI(SR), Neyveli is having a Placement Cell. The main objective of this Placement Cell is to provide a bridge between Potential Employers and the trainees pursuing PG Diploma, Post Diploma and Graduate Engineer's Course in Thermal Power Plant Engineering.

Number of companies owning Power Plants (IPP, CPP) found that employing people with this PGDC/PDC qualification has lot of advantages compared to Fresh Graduate or Diploma holder. These persons can be deployed in active work immediately after recruitment without any plant training.
