NPTI
(SR) is mainly conducting Training Programmes in the fields of
Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution. Most of these
Programmes are in line with the mandatory requirements set under
Rule 3 (2-A) of Indian Electricity Rules and to meet the objectives
of National Training Policy for the Power Sector.
Apart
from conducting already developed Training Programmes numbering
more than sixty at regular intervals the Institute also designs,
develops and conducts need based Programmes on the request of
customer Organisations.
The
Institute also organises from time to time, Seminars and Workshops
on Key issues and emerging Technologies in Power sector to provide
a platform for dissemination of Knowledge among all involved
in the Sector.
In
a way to assist the Power Training Centres under various establishments
NPTI (SR) is also producing Computer Based Training Programmes
and Course material which are available to interested Organisations
and individuals on payment basis.
